This program gives business owners an opportunity to promote their operations to a core group of actively involved business people in the community. Lively and uplifting, there's no better way to make connections and build professional relationships. Greeters is a networking program available to all Philomath Area Chamber of Commerce members (and their employees)
We will discuss trees and shrubs that love sun vs. shade, and will go over care and traits of plants such as: drought tolerance, deer tolerance, and low vs. high maintenance.

Instructor Bio:
My name is Shay Boga and I’m the Perennial Production Manager at Peoria Gardens. My passion for horticulture and perennial plants started in 2018 when I did an internship at Peoria Gardens. You could say that my passion for plants bloomed later in life, but I’ve been obsessed with learning about perennials since starting to work at Peoria. I worked my way up from intern to Perennial Shipping Lead to Perennial Production Manager; the entirety of my career at Peoria has been in the perennial area.In my free time, I love working in the garden with my cat and partner. We have a beautiful perennial cut flower garden that I like to make floral arrangements with to have fresh flowers around the house. My cat is a great assistant! When not in the garden or at work, I enjoy rock climbing, backpacking, going to ecstatic dance or moving my body to music, and going for ice cream after dinner and walking along the waterfront.
D’Petal Tones will be playing at Lumos Winery from 2-4 pm on Sunday, September 21st under the oaks!
